The staff here is always very friendly and knowledgable. They are willing to help whether you are there in person or phoning them. I have found their prices to be extremely competive. I've been told they will price match if you find a better deal online, but I've never found occasion to ask for a better price. They also have some great events at their store. Unlike other shops I never even have to cart my sewing machine to the events. They use machines from their store.

I absolutely love this place! Dana was so patient helping me with my new machine. Everyone at the store went out of their way helping me with accessories and picking out thread colors! This store has an amazing selection of sewing machines. They also sell some refurbished machines. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for all your help!

I have now bought 2 used machines at Barnes. The owners have put a lot of effort to make sure everything is working properly. Their extra time and effort is really appreciated. From my experience, I feel like they are a trustworthy business.

Barnes Sewing Center has the best customer service of ANY store I’ve been in. They know their customers, pay attention to what you want and need, and are wonderful at teaching you how to use the machines they sell. I won’t ever buy a sewing machine anywhere else.
